Don't worry, your email address will only be used to let you know about updates; it will never be sold to spammers. But if you really piss me off, I may give it to them.
Some spam blockers might catch the update emails thinking that they're crap you didn't ask for. Make whatever adjustments you need to make to keep that from happening. Don't ask me how, I don't know.
